Shirk Forge

        I am a full time Artist Blacksmith located just north of Lawrence Kansas. Growing up on the family dairy farm, I helped build and fix anything and everything since I was very little. With an affinity for tools, and a love of video games and world history, I found myself fascinated and drawn to the ancient art of Blacksmithing. While in school this translated into a love of art classes, and I continued on to graduate from the University of Kansas with a design degree in Metalsmithing and Jewelry. After graduating I focused my efforts on renovating the old farm workshop into a properly equipped Blacksmithing and welding shop. I design and sell a variety of hand forged goods on my online store.
